KEEP YOUR MLS CODES CONFIDENTIAL! You are responsible for the security of your public and private id's. The MLS rules prohibit allowing others to use your public and private id's. Members are reminded that the MLS database is protected copyright material and its use is strictly limited and must be kept confidential. MLS information is for the exclusive use of the participants and subscribers for allowed purposes only.

The Association recently became aware that a non-member is marketing products which provide access to the MRMLS database by using a Member's public and private id's. BE AWARE -- THIS IS A VIOLATION OF THE MLS RULES which prohibit a Member from reformatting or using MLS information to create another product for use by a non-participant. Sharing of the MLS compilation with any third party not authorized by the MLS is prohibited. Participants and subscribers must indicate on their websites that the information being provided is for consumers' personal, non-commercial use and may not be used for any purpose other than to identify prospective properties consumers may be interested in purchasing.

Providing your public and private id's to the MLS database to unauthorized persons may subject you to disciplinary action and/or sanctions under Section 13 of the Rules and Regulations, and may also result in civil actions.
